ProductThe whole store, in one workspace

Everything a grocer writes on a clipboard, kept properly.

Stock, buying, selling, people and the numbers that tie them together. One catalog and one ledger underneath, so every screen agrees with every other.

01 / Inventory

A ledger, not a spreadsheet.

On-hand is calculated from movements — never typed over. Receiving, sales, counts, transfers and waste each write an entry with a person, a time and a reason.

Every store keeps its own numbers

Each location has its own on-hand, pars and history. Switch scope in one click, or roll everything up.

Cycle counts

Blind by default, with expected quantities frozen when the sheet is made. Counts are reviewed before variances change on-hand.

Transfers between stores

Send stock across town and both ledgers move together — out of one, into the other.

Waste with a reason

Expired, damaged, over-ordered. PalletRow separates what was preventable from what wasn’t.

Catalog import

Bring your product list in as a file, checked before it lands, with problems named row by row.

Lots and dates

Markdowns can target a specific lot, so the yogurt dated Friday is priced separately from next week’s.

02 / Barcode scanning

Scan with whatever is in the building.

One scan field on counting, receiving and product lookup takes input from a handheld, a USB or Bluetooth gun, or the phone camera — and knows what a grocery label means.

USB and Bluetooth scanners

Any scanner that types like a keyboard works as soon as it’s paired. Scans are told apart from typing by their speed, so a clerk typing a lot number is never cut off.

Zebra and Honeywell handhelds

Devices that deliver scans as browser events rather than keystrokes are listened for too — both paths at once, because fleets mix them.

The phone camera

Uses the browser’s built-in barcode reader on Android. Safari on iPhone and iPad doesn’t have one; the app says so and offers a typed code or a Bluetooth scanner instead of a slow download.

Every symbology a store prints

UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-13, EAN-8, ITF-14, Code 128, Code 39 and QR. Short UPC-E codes are expanded and check digits verified.

Scale labels

Price- and weight-embedded labels are matched by their item code. A weighed item records its weight as the quantity.

Case codes

An ITF-14 shipper code resolves to the product inside it, as a case where you’ve set one up.

Straight to the product

Scan into the product search or the search palette and you land on that product.

Missing zeros, repaired

Codes imported without their leading zeros are repaired on the way in, so they still match a scan.

03 / Buying

Order it, receive it, know what it cost.

Purchase orders built from reorder suggestions, sent as a clean PDF, received line by line — with freight and duty carried into the cost of every unit.

Landed cost

Freight and duty are allocated to the lines they belong to, so margin is measured against the real cost of getting product on the shelf.

Partial deliveries

Short shipments, substitutions and cost changes are recorded against the PO — not on a sticky note.

Vendors

Supplier details and order history in one place, attached to every order you place.

Inbound shipments

For stores that import directly: containers tracked from booking to the back door.

04 / Forecasting

Forecasts that know you sold out.

Demand is learned from your own sales, store by store. Days with nothing on the shelf are recognized for what they are, so an empty week doesn’t talk you into ordering less.

Reorder suggestions

What’s running low, how much to order and why — ready to turn into a purchase order.

Learns from day one

Import your sales history and forecasts start from your real rhythm, not a generic curve.

05 / Selling

Sales come in. Margins come out.

Connect your registers or import exports, and every sale lands against the right store and the right product.

Square, Clover and Shopify POS

Native connections with every delivery signature-verified. Unsigned or altered deliveries are refused and logged.

A direct feed for every other register

ECRS, NCR, IT Retail, LOC or a nightly export: post PalletRow’s documented format, signed with your connection key.

CSV sales import

History arrives validated, de-duplicated and attributed to the right store. Unmatched lines wait for you to resolve.

Pricing, worst margin first

See margin against landed cost for every product and change prices with the approvals you require.

Customers and loyalty

A points ledger for your regulars, and a view of who has stopped coming in.

Email campaigns

Write to a segment and see how many people have agreed to hear from you before you write a word.

06 / Running the store

The rest of the job, in the same place.

Running a store is more than stock. The people, the paperwork and the fridge temperatures belong next to the inventory, not in a separate app.

People and roles

Invite your team, assign roles and scope them to stores. A cashier sees a cashier’s screens.

Scheduling

Build the week’s schedule for each store and see it alongside the work that needs doing.

Tasks

Open and overdue work, assigned and tracked to done.

Compliance and equipment

Inspections, temperature excursions and equipment on file, with what’s open and overdue at the top.

Documents

Licenses, supplier agreements and certificates stored with the workspace.

Multiple stores

Every location has its own name, code and timezone, all editable in Settings.

07 / Reporting

Numbers you can trace back.

Every report is built from the same ledger as the screens, so the dashboard, the margin statement and your exports always agree.

A live dashboard

Today’s pace against the same day last week, refreshed while you watch.

Report builder

Choose measures, groupings and filters from a menu. No SQL, and nothing reaches the database that isn’t on the list.

Margin statement

Retail gross margin on landed cost, period over period.

Exports

Take any report to a spreadsheet or PDF.

08 / Assistant & control

An assistant that shows its work.

Ask in plain language. Every answer cites the records it read, and anything it proposes goes through the same permissions, approvals and audit trail as a person.

Approvals you define

Price changes, adjustments and orders can require sign-off by role. Nothing writes until it clears.

The same rules for software

The assistant can never do what the person asking couldn’t. Its proposals wait in the same queue.

Audit trail

Who changed what and when — for people and the assistant alike.

An API and webhooks

API keys scoped to a role, and signed webhooks when sales, stock, orders, prices, counts and transfers change — on the Chain plan and above.

See it with your own catalog.
